The Seattle Natural’s Extravaganza 2016 was amazing, I don’t even know where to begin! I am already looking forward to next year because it was that much fun! So much beautiful hair, so much talent, so many entreprenuers and so much SHOPPING! This is definitely an experience I will never miss out on. The 3 day event was put on by Creative Events & Designs Kariba Jack at the Red Lion Hotel in Renton Washington. Let me show you some of the goodies from my swag bag!
I’ve already tried out the Eden’s Bodyworks Co Wash and the Curly Q Custard. My daughters hair came out so soft with beautiful curls the next morning. She was definitely feeling herself. This is her saying “Pretty Yi”!
There were several IG & Youtube famous guest I had the chance to meet including Jessica Pettway who did a really awesome “Mommy & Me” break out session on caring for kids natural hair. I immediately used the tips I learned in that session on my daughter as soon as I got back home.
I met the author of “Penny & The Magic Puff Balls” and it was so cool to find out that she is also from Washington! This book is absolutely adorable and my daughter loves it too, I am picking up a few more copies for my nieces to read now.
I also got a chance to meet, Miss Black Washington De’Vaughnn Williams! She was so cool I chased her down for a pic LOL
I ended up missing a few of the break out sessions from running around checking out all the vendors but, there was some really good information in the ones I did get a chance to check out like “Hair Color & Care” with Miss Ehrin
and makeup tips with designer and fab makeup artist Isoken.
Now I want to talk about the shopping at Seattle Natural’s Extravaganza because, there were so many vendors in this place!
Most vendors were entrepreneurs representing their own brands which made me excited and inspired. I wanted to get a booth for this event but, my schedule in April was crazy so maybe next year.
I actually got to meet the creator of “Brown Betty 253” and she was so cool!! I love this body frosting and scalp spray. I will be definitely ordering more. They both smell amazing and all her products have 10 ingredients or less so you always know exactly what you are putting on your body.
I also met the crocheting divas who made these adorable hair bows. Check them out HERE
I bought several of these hand stoned Dashiki’s from designer, Isoken’s line called “Puskies Wardrobe” They are so beautiful, the pictures don’t do them justice!
The Seattle Natural’s Extravaganza was followed by a beer and wine tasting and also a Luau style dinner which I missed due to birthday festivities but, I heard it was a lot of fun!!
This event was amazing! Thank you Kariba for the invite and for putting on something this cool for people in the Seattle area. I am never missing this event! Make sure you follow the Seattle Natural Extravaganza on IG to find out future dates.
