What do you do when one of your favorite party supply companies sends you samples for review? You throw an awesome ice cream party that’s what you do!
*Many of the items featured in this blog post were sent to me by OrientalTrading.com for review. All opinions in the post are my own and I am not being paid to give a positive review.
I LOVE OrientalTrading.com! I have used many items from their site in all kinds of parties I have thrown even before I started this blog here. They literally have everything you could possibly need to throw a fun party on a budget. When I got an email about collaborating with them I did a dance and couldn’t wait to throw this cool ice cream party for the kids. I kept this party pretty simple and its definitely something you can throw together with just a few days notice and fast shipping with orientaltrading.com. There are also a few really quick and easy treat DIY’s you can throw in too!
Global warming is real! We had this party May 7th and we hit just about 88 degrees here out of nowhere which is not exactly normal for the Northwest! I was melting, the ice cream was melting so it was the perfect time to bring out the bubbles and water toys. It was a added touch for this summery themed ice cream party!
The ice cream party bowls were sooooo cute and inspired a lot of the bright fun colors in this party, they also come in orange! These doubles as party favors and the kids were excited to be able to take them home too.
The party napkins are also from OrientalTrading.com I love the sprinkles and we all know I love anything with sprinkles!
Our ice cream party bar had all the good stuff including fruit loops, oreos and frosted animal cookies! Ice cream waffle bowls worked perfect to hold all the goods.
I ate just about all of these adorable popsicle sugar cookies myself! Cookies from Tiffany’s Cake
These fudge ice cream cones were really simple to make!
I also made these ice cream sandwiches but, the wind knocked over the popcorn and the only picture of them on my camera was this beautiful mess. All this yummy stuff in one pic! The popcorn is really blue!
I did these really cute decals for my favor bags and the ketchup & mustard bottles using my cricut explore.
The bags included several party favors from orientaltrading.com including bubble necklaces, stickers, jumbo sunglasses and these super cute ice cream party cups!
More bubbles to add to the party!
To add to all the fun we had going on. OrientalTrading.com sent this really cool bean bag toss game that matched everything. I have to admit I got stuck on this game myself, It’s so fun to play! This will be getting plenty of use in the play room. Its very well made and will last forever.
Thank you so much to OrientalTrading.com for all the fun stuff for our ice cream party. I hope you find some inspiration for your next ice cream party. I will be posting a few treat DIY’s and also a craft from orientaltrading.com that was in the favor bags too!
