Today’s throwback “Rubber Duck Theme” pool party is from almost a year ago! This is when I was just getting things rolling. I wanted to put together an end of summer pool party for the kids but, it had to be super cool and something a little different. Who doesnt love rubber ducks? The rubber duck theme party is so cute and can be used for just about any occasion including a baby shower or birthday! I don’t have too many pictures from the party but I do have a few and one really amazing video shot by Tommy Stephens. He did such great job capturing all the kids having fun! Of course being in Washington state, our weather that day was unpredictable and cloudy but the kids still made the best of it, some still got in the pool, others got sugar high off all the sweets and having the real life little mermaid surprise them all made up for the weather!
This party was full of junk food everywhere!!! I had all the cookies all the cupcakes and all the candy you could think of! I may have went overboard but I heard zero complaints lol
I jam packed this table with treats from Tiffanys’s Cake-Cakes. I really wanted to try out making cupcake wraps with my cricut explore so, I made all the ones for this party and I loved making the rubber duck stand centerpieces with fake bubbles and spray painted hat boxes. I made those using clear christmas ornaments and lots of hot glue!
These adorable and unique favor boxes are available in my shop!
The kids had an unexpected visit from Ariel! I have used Jasmine Wright for a few parties and have never been disappointed. She stays in character the whole time and always does such a great job with the kids. I highly recommend her company if you are in the Seattle/Tacoma area!
