5 amazing ways to use coconut oil!
Coconut oil is LIFE! I ordered this giant bottle on amazon and didn’t even look at the size before checking out, its 54oz!
I get excited just thinking of all the different ways I am going to use this stuff! For those of you just discovering the benefits of mother natures gift, here are 5 ways to use coconut oil.
Deep Conditioner– This is my favorite way to use coconut oil because, it just leaves my natural hair amazing! I know people with all different hair types use coconut oil as a deep conditioner for their hair. Take a generous amount of coconut and work it through your hair. Let sit for as long as you want, Ive sat with this in my hair for 5+ hours before washing with shampoo and conditioner. Coconut oil has been proven to help prevent hair loss and damage.
Body Moisturizer– Coconut is already the main ingredient in many products. This creamy natural ingredient can moisturizer your skin all on its own. Apply immediately after shower and let it absorb in your skin for a perfect natural moisturizer.
Eye Makeup Remover– This is the BEST eye makeup remover I’ve ever tried. The first time I did it, I had just ran out of makeup remover wipes and figured this would be a good option and I was right! Not even waterproof mascara can stand up to the coco!
Skin Rashes – Like I mentioned earlier in this post I am allergic to just about anything. Occasionally, I break out in rashes from who knows what and I have several times in the past applied coconut oil to the area at it has calmed down an inflamed rash. This also works for eczema symptoms!
Lip Scrub– Mix 1 tablespoon coconut oil, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 tablespoon honey for and ahhhnatural lip scrub
Stretch Mark Cream– I can TOTALLY vouch for this working! Atleast it did for me. I escaped pregnancy without a single stretch mark and I honestly think that the insane amounts of coconut oil I slathered on daily was the reason for this. Coconut oil will not fade existing stretch marks or scaring but it will prevent new stretch marks and dark spots from popping up.
